Maio 'big eyed girl' art was painted by Margaret Stewart and was trendy in the late sixties and early 1970's. This was taken in a back alley in St Paul, MN many years ago. To me she looked sad, and was trying to escape. This was her popular Hooded Harlequin in the Woods print.
